Five days

So I have five days until my due date. Holy Moly, where did the time go?? All is going well with my doctor visits. And even with all I am doing ,that I shouldn't be (too heavy lifting, finishing the boys room, wrestling 6 yr olds at church, etc), I am just not progressing. I have been at a one for the last three weeks. But now, the countdown is on! As well as the "just calling to see if you've had that baby yet" phone calls. SUSIE... ;)

But I also wanted to document the baby showers I've had. First, Cyndi and I started planning a tea party (not a shower) and she was so generous and volunteered to make the invites. Well, the sneaker plotted with my sister (again, SUSIE...) and turned it to a baby shower. Yes, I do appreciate it, even though I give you a hard time! It was very sweet of the two of you to do that. I didn't take a single picture that day, so if you want to see some check out cousin Gennaveeve's blog. It was a fun afternoon, and thanks to all of you who came.

Then the Young Women in my ward called and asked if they could throw Shelly and me a baby shower. Shelly and I were camp directors last year and are now pregnant due a week apart. She is due a week after me. We are both bummed that we are not going to camp this year, but it's for a very good reason, so.

Anyway, the YW tied quilts for us. This one is mine. Cute huh!!

They played games. We had a baby frozen in an ice cube, and we had to guess what time it would be born from the ice cube. Then the closest to their time wins. Super fun. We also chose a tiny flannel diaper to pin to our shirts. We found out later that one was poopy (mustard) and the person with that one, won. What a great idea! And there was Judy! I love Judy, she is fantastic!! She came down the stairs dressed like this (below)! She had her suit case and was ready to go to the hospital. She has a water balloon in her pocket and she was squirting water on Shelly and me saying her water broke. SO funny!! We almost "wet" ourselves laughing. But, Judy dropped the suitcase and it's contents and after she had gathered them up we had to write down what we remember from it. That was the most hilarious version of that game I have ever seen.

They served yummy cheesecake, sherbet w/sprite, and the YW mad these super cute nut cups. It was a styrofoam cup made into a baby shoe, brilliant!

And here is Shelly and me showing off our giant bellies. Shelly is going to be induced on Wednesday (my birthday). So the baby race is on! We'll see if I can beat her to it. ;)

Thanks girls for the lovely evening! We had so much fun!
