My grandpa's funeral is tomorrow and I was asked to mention some memories of my grandpa. So all week I have been thinking of grandpa. Now, my memory is horrible, I can barely remember yesterday, but I do have a few memories.One day when I was about 10, I had met a friend's grandpa and I thought he was really creepy. So later that day, I was the only one home and the phone rang. It was this creepy grandpa! So I hung up, he called back, so I hung up... this went on for a few more times. Well, you know where this is going, and yup, it was MY grandpa! Oops, sorry!
I hope I can always hear in my memory him saying, "Well hello there Angelic!" It is one of my favorite memories/associations with my grandpa.
AND... Look at that great smile!
Love ya grandpa, we'll miss you! Give grandma a great big hug for us.
