On August 8, 2008 my wonderful SIL Penny had an 80's party that was "totally rad , man"! We all wore our horribly wonderful 80's clothes, brought treat & goodies we loved in the 80's. I brought sour patch kids! And we watched "Better Off Dead". I had forgotten how bad (but in a good way) that show is! My favorite lines:
Paperboy: "Two dollars! I want my two dollars! "
Charles De Mar: "This is pure snow! Do you have any idea
what the street value of this mountain is? "
John & Penny have this fabulous scooter we all posed in front of. Shawn wasn't able to come, so I brought an even cuter date!! He was dressed up too, Henry was my Cabbage Patch Doll. I even signed Xavier Roberts name on his bum like a real doll.
And my favorite was Jason! He was one of the guys from Devo. So very cool! And it was even a last minute costume! Sarah & Jason were at DI that day and came across this cake pan, that is totally a Devo hat! Lucky ducks!
