Boston

I am slowly going to post the pictures from my trip in October. So these were from our first day in Boston. We got of the subway and were off to find the Freedom Trail, when we saw these Chinese dragons dancing around. I have no idea why they were there or what they were celebrating, but it was very cool to watch.

This is just a shot of the town while we were walking around.

This is another picture of the trail. they had the red (or white) brick in the sidewalk so you follow to see the historical sites.

The next three photos were right by the Boston Latin School. It is the oldest public school in America and Ben Franklin, Sam Adams, John Hancock, and Ralph Waldo Emerson have all attended the school.

This is a game of hopscotch that they had.

I just liked this donkey. So funny!

A George Washington statue in Boston Common.

And this sign was just outside the Massachusetts State House. We had no idea what it meant, but we were wondering if Mitt Romney might have some problems in his presidential campaign?? ;) But I have now done my research and the entrance is named after Joseph Hooker from the Civil War. So all is well.
